Atypon 01 - Red Blend

This medium-bodied wine brings together the bold character of Agiorgitiko and the complexity of Shiraz, two varieties that thrive in the volcanic soils of Lefkara in which they’re grown. Agiorgitiko, a renowned Greek varietal, lends depth and structure with its earthy undertones and fine tannins, while Shiraz contributes vibrant notes of ripe red fruit and a subtle spiciness.

Recommended Food Pairing: bold, flavourful dishes. Its rich, earthy notes and ripe red fruit tones complement hearty meats such as braised lamb, grilled steak, or slow-cooked beef. The wine’s smooth mouthfeel also balances the sharpness of mature cheeses like aged gouda,  cheddar, comté,  and manchego, while its lingering finish stands up to the complexity of roasted vegetables and rich sauces.
